Bruce Reynolds Workshop and Studio Visit

I attended a workshop last Sunday with Artist Bruce Reynolds at his Studio in inner city Brisbane. A lot of Bruce's current practice involves the incorporation of roughly cast plaster elements and in the workshop demonstrated his general approach and some of his techniques. I made this oxide coloured plaster shield in curved mould made out of gym mats. It was lots of fun.

Save me trying to describe what's he's all about, there's a great video of Bruce talking about his work on the Ryan Renshaw website so check it out here.

  1. Looks like the workshop was time well spent. Must have good to have someone with that experience give their two cents on your ideas and methods.
